Game Review: Lemmings (PSP)

I'll be honest here. I struggled to find a suitable game for the PSP. While the hardware itself is a cracking design, it is currently let down by the lack of quality games. In my humble opinion of course.

Originally released in 1991, Lemmings is a puzzle game where you have to save as many of the cute little green haired fellas as you can. It has since been updated with new levels and better graphics. Some of the backgrounds look utterly amazing!
With various “Lemmings” (tools really) at your disposal you guide them through levels of varying difficulty. While this game is the oldest I have reviewed to date, the fact that it is still in PSP Top 10 sales list speaks volumes for its quality and playability.

The only real negative I have is that there are not that many new levels. All the original levels have been scrubbed up and look superb. The ones are new are good and challenging. There simply isn't enough of them for my liking.

For those of you that are old enough to remember it from the first time round you will love it. For those who have yet to discover it, you are in for a treat.
